Marauders’ body comparison.
Sirius is the tallest and has a generally athletic body. He is described incredibly handsome and I think he is lucky with his body also. I don’t see him very muscular but fit, he has good genes so he doesn’t have to workout much to keep his shape. I imagine him with long thighs.
James is the second shortest of the group. In OotP he and Harry had the same height, and Harry is short, so I think James isn’t very tall either. I imagine him thin with no defined muscles, but he is stronger than he looks. He is a Quidditch player, so he is obviously very fit. I imagine him tanned.
Remus is skinny and has long limbs in my head. I see him quite pale and with a poor posture. I think he hit puberty first so he was the tallest until Sirius caught up with growing.
Peter is chubby and short. I think he is the phisically strongest of the group, but it hasn’t been really revealed because he doesn’t like fighting.
a silly sequel to this for Autumn.
Challenge. —- WIP.
I doubt I can actually finish this in 2013, so till then you can leave me ideas for this hairstyle challenge if you want.
I’m not even in this fandom.
I have to study, but procastrination
Jily cuddle —- Finished!
Bonus close up, because I really like how Lily’s hair and freckles turned out.
Jily cuddle, because it’s cold out there and all I want to do is wrapping myself in a knitted pulover and a checked wool blanket.
but despite I have to study..or should have… maybe I can colour it this week, stay tuned.

So this season is over. I’m not sure if it’s a sad thing or a relief, I have quite ambivalent feelings.
The first part of the season was so annoying, but everything changed when The Beginnings was released. That was super epic and the best episode ever.
But the last 4 episodes… well. I’m not saying they were bad, but they were not good either. They were… betweent the two extremes, so the finale was okay. Not bad, not good, just okay. Spoilers!
The mover premiere was so dumb. Really, it was too childish. Though I’m glad Bolin finally got some character developement, but jeez, the whole Nuktuk bullshit… Seriuosly? The only good part of it was that we could see Bolin’s impressive muscles more.
I was disappointed because the 2 mustache cops were simply stupid and not actually hired by Varrick. Speaking of Varrick, that part was the worst. I mean, finally he got arrested and then he just… gives a battleship to the Krew? It’s just so unrealistic. He wanted a war so he could be more wealthy. He was portrayed as a silly millionaire and later it was hinted he is actually a bad guy with secret plans and unfair purposes. I loved the idea, it had an essence of the real life problems. Book 1 had this too with the whole Amon storyline about the terrorism and social inequality, and it was good to see a similar aspect of RL in Book 2. Varrick could be a metaphor for the 1%. (I mean, there was this ideology of we are the 99% during Occupy Wall Street.) It was even said in the season that he wants to create a war, because it’s the best way to make more money. But then there’s nothing, Varrick happens to be only a silly millionaire in the end. There’s no way he would just give them his battleship if his main goal was becoming more rich.
I don’t even mention Lin and her parts. Or Iroh II.
About the spiritual parts, well. I have to admit that the fighting scenes were pretty awesome. Others noticed this before me, but really, I had the feeling the big finale was a crossover of Attack on Titan and Pacific Rim. The giant spirits part was beyond weird. And why did Unavaatu attack Republic City the first place? And why was Pema in Air Temple Island with her kids? And what was this Deus ex Jinora in the end? Also, how could Korra destroy Vaatu? Raava said herself that one could not exist without the other because there’s always dark in the light and vica versa. And why did Raava merge with Korra again? How could she survive Vaatu’s death at all? And how could Korra bend all 4 elements after Unavaatu ripped Raava our of her? So many questions left unanswered.
I disliked the twins also. I’m glad they had more screentime and actual script, but their character developement came from nowhere. Desna should be kicked out from the portal-opening-incident, doesn’t he? They were so protective of their father, but then betrayed him anyway. Okay, Unalaq was a shitty father and he became a giant spirit monster right in front of them, but they didn’t help Bolin and the others because of that. And in the end when Korra said Unalaq is dead they are not even sad. I mean, if they hated him from the beginning, their betrayal is okay. But if they were so protective of him even after he betrayed them (leaving Desna alone), the end scene makes no sence. Or maybe I’m missing something important here?
I really enjoyed Tenzin’s parts, he was interesting during the whole season. The Fog of the Lost Souls scene was perfect. And Zhao’s cameo, omg. Speaking of cameos, Iroh’s appearence in ep10 was amazing. I didn’t expect it at all, and I think it’s the best ending for Iroh. I’m so glad he was actually able to enter the Spirit world and then he decided to leave his mortal body behind when his duty in the mortal world ended. And he happened to be a kind of spiritual guide there, helping others finding the right path. It was so him, and I’m very glad about this. (Though it’s still unclear how could Unalaq ‘befriend’ the Library Owl spirit.)
And finally, about the love interest. I’m happy everyone ended up being single. Really. The whole makorra vs. masami fight was pointless, Bolin and Ginger was pathetic, and the final scene with Bolin and Eska? Seriusly wtf. That glance Desna and Mako shared pretty much sums up my reaction too.
So, hopes for the future? There will be Book 3, maybe even Book 4? I’m not sure. The new world with the opened portals and spirits seems interesting, I hope they will somehow answer the questions.
and bring Tahno back.
So this is sort of a gift art for kilivanily for her birthday. Yeah, I still haven’t finished the damn Hobbit yet, and I doubt it I’ll ever finish reading it. Which is a shame because it’s quite short, but it has a different translator in Hungarian than the LOTR series and it’s so annoying to read the totally different translation… Did I mention I’m pretty good at making excuses also? Because I am. Noone expected it, huh?
Anyway, happy (late) birthday Katy!
My headcanon is that James Potter was left handed. He and Sirius developed their own fighitng style according to this fact and they were very effective because they used the opposite hands so they had no weak side.
Oh my god I have this EXACT same headcanon. I just love how James and Sirius seem to be two halves of a whole in a way, like in that 800 word prequel where they had “identical fluid movements” and in Snape’s Worst Memory they worked together so flawlessly like… shit.
also, i bet it annoyed the hell out of lily.
(circa 5th year??)
James is all smug because his ruse of getting lily to talk to him without shouting worked. I guess it also helped they were in a classroom, else Lily would’ve given him a earful.
a sequel aka how to ruin the most perfect moment with a silly joke
I’m sorry, I’m just actually pretty shocked how many of us imagine James left handed.
'He's still handsome, isn't he, even after Azkaban?'
I finally coloured the redesigned Sirius Black pic. I think I like this new look, so I guess I’lldraw him like this from now on.
old photo of me cause why not.
watching The Lion King on my 23th birthday is the best present I could give myself actually.
